WHAT IS CAMP ABOUT
About the Show:
This summer, our Cats performances will take place on the mainstage and utilize the same set, props and lighting as our mainstage show of Cats so that campers can get the full performance experience. Campers will put on matinee performances before our evening showings with the adult cast, and will also receive their own Thursday night showing.
CATS is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purr-fect felines, including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks and Grizabella. The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

REGISTRATION
How to Apply:
We will need to receive your contact information and some quick information about why you want to partake in this camp. This camp is recommended for students that have a strong drive to be onstage. If your child isn’t sure if they are, they should try out the week long summer camps first. Students will be in long hours of rehearsal every day and will be expected to learn quickly.
Our application asks for a paragraph description of why campers want to join the camp - please be detailed here and let your passion shine through! If you don’t have any previous performance experience, don’t sweat it. We just want to be sure you are motivated to learn everything this experience will have to offer.
We are also asking that you link a video of you singing. This is just for us to see your interest in performing and what you can currently do. You can choose any song (Happy Birthday, the National Anthem, a pop song or Musical Theater song) and it does not have to be the entire song. We recommend singing for about a minute. Please submit a shareable link in the form that leads to an uploaded video on Youtube, Vimeo, Google Photos or Dropbox. Make sure anyone can open the link without signing in. Failure to submit a video or paragraph expressing your interest will lead to not being admitted to the camp.
