Theatre Camp Registration

Update from Harbor Playhouse:

In light of the current situation, the Harbor Playhouse Board of Directors and staff have decided to forego the Young People’s Theater Camp for the 2020 Summer Season. Conversations have been happening for weeks between camp director, board members, and staff. Ultimately, it has been decided a few days ago that we could not in good conscience, operate knowing that the Coronavirus would still be prevalent.

We understand that Summer camp is one of the most influential and beneficial parts of a child’s summer life away from school – and have heard from many of you that this is the highlight of your child’s summer. Rest assured that this was not a decision that was made lightly.

We will most definitely be offering a refund for those who request one, but we also encourage families to consider offering the amount paid for camp as a donation to our non-profit if you are able to do so.

To keep campers and families connected during this time while Harbor remains dark, we will be offering more online outreach programs during the coming weeks; including Q&A Zoom sessions and Virtual Voice Lessons with some of our Professionals for a Nominal Fee. But, even the most optimistic camp enthusiasts would admit that that temporary solution provides only a fraction of the real camp experience and we certainly understand that. If there is any silver lining to the situation, it’s that when we are no longer dark and our plays and camps return, they will be even more special than before.

We believe that all the hardships that we’re facing right now will lead to the sweetest embraces on the planet when we can come together again in person and that level of appreciation and gratitude will be like nothing we have ever experienced before.

STEP 1 Complete Registration Form

STEP 2 Pay for camp through Vendini

$175 Per Camper / Per  Session

$25 Before Care (starting at 7:30 a.m.)

$25 After Care (4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Note: You must pay through Vendini to secure a spot. Spaces are limited.

When registering your child for camp, you only need to fill out one form per child for the entire summer. If you are only registering your child for one session, just select the correct session on the registration form. If you are enrolling in more than one session, select the sessions you wish for your child to attend.

Scholarship Application

RULES TO FOLLOW:

  • Campers are asked to come to camp prepared.

  • Please make sure they are wearing clothing they feel comfortable moving in.

  • Dance shoes or sneakers with flat soles will be required at all times. If they are wearing sandals or flip flops, they will not be able to participate in the daily activities.

  • A light jacket is always handy as the air conditioning can get cold in the Main Stage Space.

  • A lunch will need to be provided for your child. We ask that no food that needs to be refrigerated or heated up be packed for lunch or snack. 

  • Please note all known food allergies on your registration form

  • Medications will not be administered by camp staff. If medication is sent with a camper, it needs to be something the camper can easily take or administer themselves

  • Before and After Care is available for all campers at an additional $25.00 each per session per camper.
