Upcoming Auditions
The Harbor Playhouse welcomes community participation and encourages new people to audition for productions. Bring your talent, your confidence, and a great attitude. We look forward to putting you center stage!

What to Expect at a Play Audition
Each actor will be given a number based on time of arrival. When auditioning for a play, actors will be asked to read pre-selected excerpts from the script. Some directors may incorporate other acting exercises to measure ability to follow direction.
Musical Auditions
1. For Musicals, prepare and memorize 16 bars of a song of your choice. A "bar" is a measure (the vertical lines on a page of music). When selecting a song, consider the style of show you are auditioning for.
2. Remember to bring:
-
Dance or closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops, sandals, or jewelry that impedes movement.)
-
Sheet Music for the pianist
